Open a Work Order

Work Orders can be accessed in two ways. The first way is to navigate to the asset that has the work order and then open the Work Orders panel.

The other way to view work orders is to use the Work Order Screen that shows all work orders within the municipality. Navigate to the work order screen at ≡ Menu > Reports > Work Orders.

Work Orders Screen

On the work orders screen, all work orders are shown and sorted by Alerts column. This way, items that require your attention are shown at the top of the list. The screen shows the following data for each work order:

  • Alerts

  • ID #

  • Status

  • Created Date

  • Due Date

  • Approved Date

  • Work Order Title

  • Asset Name

  • Creator

  • Assignee(s)

  • Reviewer(s)

To open an individual work order, double click on its line.

Alternately, click a line one time and then choose one of the options in the page header:

  • Map - Show the location of the asset on the map

  • Edit - Open the work order for editing

  • Delete - Delete the work order

  • PDF - Create a PDF printout of the work order data

Sort and Filter the List

The list of work orders can be re-sorted simply by clicking on a column header. The list will re-sort, and that column will show a small triangle on the right side to indicate the type of sort.

To filter the list, click Search in the upper right hand corner.

This turns on the search box for each individual data field. The search boxes can be used individually or in conjunction with each other to really home in on the desired data. In the screenshot below, the search term "clean" was applied to the Title column.

The number of matching work orders is shown in the upper right-hand corner.
