After a work order has been created, It is available for anyone else in the organization to execute the required work.

The user that is marked as the Assignee will receive a notification within CSDatum and via email that they have a new assignment. However, any other user that has access to the work order system will also be able to enter data. This flexibility ensures that whoever is best able to add data to the system can do so.

Mark the Work as In-Progress

When the assignee first begins to work on the work order, the first step is to mark the work as In-Progress. To do this, click the Mark In-Progress button at the bottom of the Work Order. This indicates that the work is underway.

Add Data

As work progresses, add data to the work order data panels. Use the links on the menu to jump directly to that data panel, or use the arrows at the bottom to scroll through.

Attach photos of the work using the Attachments button at the bottom of the panel.

Mark the Work as Complete

When the work is complete, add any missing data and attachments. Then, advance the work order by clicking Mark for Review. This will advance the work order's status and will provide a notification and email to the reviewer that the work is ready for their review.

The reviewer can then review and approved the work order as described in this article.
