The CSDatum Map can be rotated to any angle. This may help if you're in the field and want to make the screen match your physical orientation. In the office, rotating the map may help you compare it to a paper map or plan sitting on your desk.

On a Desktop Computer

Hold down the ALT and SHIFT buttons. Then, use the mouse to click and drag the map. The center point of the map will remain in one location while the map rotates.

To reorient the map to its normal north-is-up position, click the North Arrow button in the lower left hand corner.

On a Phone, Tablet, or Touchscreen

Use two fingers on the touchscreen to zoom and rotate the screen.

To reorient the map to its normal north-is-up position, tap the North Arrow button in the lower left hand corner.
