Do you have a favorite screen layout in the Permits software? Maybe you like a list of all Building Permits in a window on the left and a list of all inspections in a window on the right.
You can create a favorite layout, including filters applied to lists, and then save that layout so you can return to it with one click.
Begin by setting up a screen layout exactly as you'd like it. Apply any filters to lists. Then, click Window > Save Layout.
This layout, including filters, is now saved. You can return to this layout at any time by clicking Window > Recall Layout.
In addition, when you first login to the Permits software, it will open to your saved layout.
In the screenshot below, the left window is showing the list of all permits filtered to only display Building Permits. The right window is an unfiltered list of all Inspections. This is a saved layout that I can return to at any time.
