Close Out Existing OLDS Pumping Record

Begin by navigating to the OLDS Pumping Record that you want to close out. It's best to start from the Contacts tab and work backwards through the tabs. On the Contacts tab, add the pumping contractor by clicking Down Arrow > Pick New Contractor to begin.

This opens the Pick a Contact dialog box. Use the Magnifying Glass filter button to find the contractor in the list and click Use Selected. If the contractor is not in the list, click the Plus button to add a new Contractor.

Next, go to the Permit Info tab. Data on this tab is optional, but includes several data items on the status of the on-lot system.

On the General Info tab, add the Pump Date. Adding the date will automatically change the Status to Complete.

Lastly, if you'd like to save the paper pumping manifest, either take a photo of it or scan it and save it to the Documents tab.

Click Save before closing.

NOTE: Some municipalities rely on the CSDatum staff to create all the OLDS Pumping Records at one time. If that's the way your municipality handles things, you can ignore this section below.

Some municipalities create a new OLDS Pumping Record as soon as the old one is closed out. If this you, read on.

After closing out the existing OLDS Pumping Record, the property now requires a new OLDS Pumping Record for the next compliance period.

Within the Property window, go to Permits > Plus Button to create a new permit.

Choose OLDS Pumping Record from the drop-down menu and click Create.

Use the date that the system was pumped as the Application Date and Issued Date. The expiration date should automatically calculate. Add the Applicant to the Contacts tab. Then, click Save to save the permit.
